Our torque motor is used as a drive for the workpiece rotary table (B-axis) in a 4-axis universal milling machine. Thanks to its non-contact power transmission, the torque motor operates maintenance-free.
The direct drive reduces the mechanical drivetrain to the absolute minimum. The result is an extremely rigid load coupling completely without elasticities. This allows an absolutely precise and fast positioning and thereby minimal cycle times.
